The purpose of the New Life Opportunities Group is to provide support in a safe, nurturing environment, for women to explore issues related to exploitation.  This group is primarily comprised of women who have previously engaged in the sex trade, under duress, and who are seeking a way out of that life.  There are all levels of prostitution, trafficking victims as well as survivors of sexual, physical and emotional abuse in the group.  Some of the women are court mandated while others are not.  The group is bound by confidentiality and new members will be screened by one of the Facilitators to assure appropriateness for the group.

The group is supported by the PDI-New Life 501(c)(3).  All activities are sanctioned & governed by the Board of Directors.  The Board is comprised of community leaders from social services, medical and dental health, as well as the Dallas Police Department, the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department, the Dallas County District Attorney’s office, the City of Dallas Attorney’s office, and the Dallas County Commissioner’s Court.
